Bryan Burnett is one of Scotland’s best known media personalities, mainly due to the many shows he’s presented for BBC Radio Scotland and Scottish TV.
For ten years, Bryan was the face of Scottish Passport, the successful holiday programme broadcast across Scotland. However he’s also presented quiz shows, music programmes and more recently has been the frontman and main commentator for The Edinburgh Marathon on Sky Sports.
Bryan is one of Scotland’s most in-demand radio presenters and currently presents Get It On a drivetime music show for BBC Radio Scotland. Bryan’s enthusiastic approach and rapport with listeners has seen the show become Radio Scotland’s highest rated music show.
He also fronts major events for the station and was the host of BBC Radio Scotland’s massive outside broadcast for the Olympic Torch Relay.
Bryan was thrilled to be asked to be part of the sport presentation team for London 2012 and acted as anchor and commentator for the marathons and racewalks. Appearing on the big screens, he hosted each session and helped guide the spectators through all the key sporting elements as well as interacting with the crowds.
Bryan is a keen runner and athletics fan and this has led to him joining the event presentation team for events like The London Marathon and Great North Run. He has commentated and announced at many major road races throughout the UK.
Bryan is also an established host of conferences, awards ceremonies and other live events. His reputation as “a safe pair of hands” has led to him being asked back year after year to host many prestigious events.
