Tony Livesey is, naturally enough, the presenter of The Livesey Show from Monday to Thursday evenings on BBC Radio 5-Live. He is also the sports presenter on North West Tonight on BBC1 and also currently hosts the North West version of BBC 1’s regional football show Late Kick Off.
Tony has written and presented a documentary series called Seaside Secrets on Channel 4. He also presented Traitor, a game show on BBC 2. Tony co-wrote and presented two Christmas specials on BBC 2 celebrating 70s culture… Crumpet and Beefcake.
He was also a regular studio pundit on the first five series of BBC 1’s Inside Sport.
Tony has been a journalist for 27 years. A former sports columnist for the News Of The World and newspaper editor, he was a regular on TV’s What The Papers Say as well as appearing three times on Have I Got News For You.
He has also appeared as a guest on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC 2), 25 Minutes of Fame (BBC 1) and copious listing shows on all four major channels ending when he declined an appearance on 100 Favourite Potatoes!
Tony is also very much in demand in the corporate market hosting conferences and award ceremonies
